Date(s) - March 20 - April 30
March 22, 2020
Dear Wanaque neighbors,
In compliance with Executive Order 107, signed by New Jersey’s Governor Murphy this weekend, the Wanaque Library will be closed to both the public and the staff until the Governor lifts the Executive Order.
We ask that you refrain from returning your materials to the library book drop right now, as we’re not able to empty it. But please don’t worry about accruing fines on any library materials that you currently have checked out. All due dates have been extended automatically until at least April 30th. Thanks.
New Jersey residents, take note that there is a new state website dedicated to COVID-19 Information at https://covid19.nj.gov/.
We know that this is a scary and uncertain time. A lot of us are feeling lonely and isolated right now. If you would like to receive a daily “check-in” text, or if you want to get a library card or update your card so you can access our electronic resources, please email us at email@example.com. (If you want a “check-in” text, please include your first name, your cell number, and one random fact about yourself — what your favorite color is, whether you prefer cats or dogs, your profession or whatever (just as a conversation starter)).
As we gather more information, we’ll update our website and social media. In the meantime, remember, if you need to get in touch with library staff, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or engage with us on social media: Instagram or Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/wanaquelibrary.org.
