During these unprecedented times, it is now more than ever that we are being called to action to help our Community Food Pantry.
Each November, Wanaque Boy Scout Troop 132 adopts “Scouting for Food” as its “Good Turn.” Along with Wanaque Cub Scout Pack 132, the Wanaque Girl Scout unit, and members of local churches Midvale United Methodist, St. Francis, and the Wanaque Community Reformed Church, we join efforts to collect donations for Wanaque Feeds the Hungry, our local food pantry.
We need YOUR support more than ever this year due to COVID-19. There are so many more local families that need your assistance. Donations will only be used to aid Wanaque Borough residents.
With safety in mind for everyone, no food will be collected this year due to the pandemic. We are appealing for monetary donations or grocery gift cards in lieu of food. Please give generously.
Checks can be made payable to WANAQUE FEEDS THE HUNGRY. Your contributions can be mailed directly to Wanaque Borough Nurse, 579 Ringwood Avenue, Wanaque NJ 07465, or you can drop off your contribution at the Wanaque Public Library or in the payment drop box outside Borough Hall. All contributions are tax deductible.
We thank you in advance for your prompt response so we can meet our goal of replenishing the food pantry by year end. If you have any questions please contact one of the people listed below:
