Albert Gallagher, the grandson of Howard Saundry, posted on the Good Ol’ Haskell Facebook group: “Specht’s Haskell Hotel, affectionately referred to at one time as “the Bucket of Blood” because of the bar fights that occurred there.” There have been several posts on the Good Ol’ Haskell local history Facebook page about the Haskell Hotel.
